Based in the London office you will work within the Operations team to ensure that all goods arrive on time and in full.

You will work within Production team, to monitor the critical path of all products to ensure that the order, manufacture and shipping processes adhere to set deadlines.

You will have an excellent eye for detail and have a knowledge, passion or keen interest in supply chain.

This role involves the opportunity to work across various areas of the supply chain, which will require a flexible approach, a can-do attitude and a broad perceptive.

This position offers a great opportunity to learn about the entire business, to work at the hub of the organisation and make a tangible difference to its success.

Duties Include but are not exclusive to the following:

  • Act as the point of contact for all supplier queries, primarily via email and telephone and occasionally face-to-face.
  • System admin including purchase orders and critical path maintenance.
  • Identify, record and highlight instances outside of expectations.
  • Attend internal meetings and occasional supplier meetings.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers.

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Good understanding of either AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
  • Good understanding and history of working on Demandware platform
