Credit Controller – Hawick TD9

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance Team.

This position is based in our Scottish Borders office.

This individual is to be accountable for the day to day running of accounts receivable department; a leading partner and pillar of support to the business.

Key accountabilities include:

  • To manage the overdue debt of the sales ledger
  • To provide seasonal reviews on our order book, giving financial support to our sales agents internal and external
  • To provide month end commission statements to our agents on invoiced sales and cash received
  • Ensure that our financial system is fit for purpose, and fully optimised at all times

This individual will need to have:

  • Excellent IT skills including extensive knowledge of excel
  • Experience of working as a team with a proven track record of clear and accurate communication
  • Pro-active approach to work – forward planning skills essential with a can do attitude

Senior Footwear Designer & Developer

An exciting opportunity for a commercial, ambitious and energetic Footwear Designer & Developer. This is a key role which will take the design and development of our already successful casual, formal and sports inspired footwear ranges to new levels. You will be an established designer & developer with extensive experience in creating commercial and trend led footwear ranges. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of footwear ranges from initial concepts and innovations through to final sample stage
  • Identify key trends and commercial opportunities in line with brand DNA and direction
  • Manage the development and sample process within deadlines each season
  • Present the ranges and key themes to our UK and International Sales teams
  • Working closely with our factories and production/planning teams
  • Proto reviews , including fit ,quality and construction
  • Work closely with the apparel teams ensuring new seasons trends and themes are consistent
  • Produce technical packs
  • Work to commercial brief, delivering product and margin requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technical knowledge and versatile approach – Cad / Illustrator capability
  • Outstanding commercial awareness
  • Extensive experience in footwear design and development with a comprehensive understanding of construction
  • Thinks strategically with a creative mindset and excellent knowledge of trends
  • Have a creative eye and attention to detail
  • Works well across multi functional teams
  • Confident communicator
  • Ability to prioritise workload ensuring deadlines are met
  • Oversees travel maybe required for development and sourcing

Footwear Product Developer

A fantastic opportunity for talented Footwear Product Developer to join our successful footwear division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all stages of development across all footwear categories (casual, formal, sports) from design to sample stage
  • Proto reviews including fit, quality and construction
  • Ensure all products are developed in line with the critical path – working closely with design, planning and production
  • Aid design in developing commercial product in line with company direction and build and maintain technical packs
  • Improve processes to drive growth and efficiencies
  • Establish effective relationships and negotiations with suppliers
  • PLM system day to day running
  • Source relevant materials (fabric and trims) in line with sourcing strategy

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a deep understanding of design, development and technical construction
  • Have solid background in commercial footwear development and experience in multi footwear categories
  • Be highly organised with a great attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have great drive and initiative

Garment Technician

We are looking for a Garment Technician to join our Vintage Team. 

This individual will manage the fit and quality of all product within the Vintage business unit, working to the Brand’s standards. 

The successful applicant will: 

  • Be responsible for defining the block & signing off the fit of every product from proto through to PPS
  • Ensure each product is approved for bulk production; colours/fabrics are signed off and wash care defined
  • Ensure all technical functions are carried out in a timely manner ensuring no delays occur to SMS or bulk
