    Firm believers in the importance of quality and craftsmanship, Willima Lyle & Walter Scott founded their business in the Scottish Borders in 1874. Starting with a loan of just £800, the company soon expanded, in line with William Lyle's motto: "Good work, makes more work"

Thanks to the comfortable fit, and smart design, the range was adopted by some of thw world's best players, including Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman, who both achieved famous victories at the British Open while sporting the Golden Eagle"
