Lyle & Scott x Birds of Condor. Friends of a feather.

Golf might have been born in Scotland, but right now, it’s getting a dose of Australian sunshine. Under the banner of ‘Friends of a Feather,’ Lyle & Scott and Birds of Condor have joined forces to create a capsule that bridges continents, cultures, and clubhouses.
The collection is a meeting of minds, our heritage as the original golf brand, fused with the laid-back, irreverent energy of Australia's surf-soaked coast. Designed to bring personality and playfulness to the fairway, it channels equal parts of tradition and rebellion. Think classic argyle patterns reimagined in bold palettes, crisp polos cut for the course but styled for the street, and relaxed textures made for post-round pint sessions.
This collaboration doesn’t just look good, it’s built right. Production has been split across both brands: Lyle & Scott focused on premium knitwear and jersey, while Birds of Condor brought their signature flair to headwear, accessories, and all-over prints. The result is a collection that’s cohesive but never flat. Classic with a twist. Serious about the game, but never too serious about itself.
To bring the story to life, we enlisted one of Australia’s finest tattoo artists, Dan Coy, to design a new character: Birdie, a winged golf ball packed with attitude. It’s part nostalgia, part novelty, and perfectly captures the irreverent tone of the range. Coy’s distinct aesthetic, rooted in traditional tattoo culture but touched with Y2K spirit, adds a bold identity that ties everything together.

The drop is split into two parts, a nod to the rhythm of the game. The ‘Front Nine’ lands in July 2024, supported by a London launch event right across from our Camden HQ. The ‘Back Nine’ follows in August, timed for the height of the British golf season.
From tees and knits to caps and club covers, the collection has range. And more importantly, it has character. You could wear it to play your best round or your worst or not play at all. It looks just as good walking down a fairway as it does leaning against a vintage hatchback, catching the last of the summer light.
Because at its heart, this collection is about more than golf. It’s about shared ideas, global style, and the kind of friendship that stretches across oceans and tee boxes. And whether you’re driving greens or chasing sunsets, it delivers every time.
