The role:

We’re looking for someone to join our growing team to provide industry beating Customer Service provision within all aspect of customer care and order book management. We’re looking for someone who can delight the customer through quality support, truly understand the customer’s needs, build trust and create lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling queries and issues in a professional manner, to agreed company standards and to pre- agreed timelines
  • Calling customers to gain feedback on delivery and seeking out ways to improve future performance
  • Providing information to customers and sales to assist in driving sell through and by return business.
  • Proactively advise customers of issues and seek to find resolutions in advance of a query
  • Regular contact with agents to support the service within their markets
  • Manage order books accurately at each stage of the process to deliver On Time In Full to the customer requirement
  • Ensure processes and requirements for all customers are clear and are followed through the operational chain to meet customer expectations

Experience, skills and capabilities:

  • Customer Service experience 2 years minimum
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure
  • Ability to juggle a busy and varied workload, to prioritise tasks and to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of CRM systems

At Lyle & Scott we look for individuals who are passionate about delivering a strong product and service to all our customers. This role encompasses exactly that.

As our Cartoonist (or Visual Brief Generator, if you prefer a more generic title!), you will be responsible for creating design briefs during meetings with our wholesale customers, Key Accounts and franchisees.

You will enable the free flow of design and marketing ideas between L&S and our customers during meetings, eliminating the back-and-forths that usually occur following a design brief, ensuring the customer leaves excited about the next steps of the project.

Graphic design experience is desirable but not essential, however, you must be able to sketch to a high standard. Some examples of what you will be required to sketch during customer meetings, include:

  • POS
  • Marketing campaign ideas
  • Product
  • You may also be asked to assist with internal briefs.

As a Wholesale Assistant Merchandiser you will operate at the heart of the business communicating with suppliers, product teams, sales teams and the wider operations function to help ensure that stock levels are optimized for efficient maximization of sales, margin and profit and that pertinent and accurate information is available to drive success. Information accuracy, efficient working as well as excellent communication skills will be key to the success of this role.

  • Ensure optimum accuracy and integrity of all information at all times.
  • Maintain seasonal range information and create and communicate range information, pricelists and order sheets.
  • Maintain accurate system information on Planning and Production-specific product data, pricing and delivery windows and reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the Planning and Production department.
  • Analyse stock availability and identifying action required to ensure delivery to customer on time and in full.
  • Create seasonal range and sales analysis.
  • Create, maintain and publish weekly and month company reporting relating to stock and sales (e.g. bestsellers, slow movers, stock lists)
  • Confirm order deadlines with suppliers
  • Break buy quantities down to size level and agree order quantities with suppliers
  • Monitor stock levels

The ideal candidate would have at least 1 years’ experience in as an Assistant Merchandiser or +1 years’ as an Senior Merchandising Administrator & ready to move on to the next level. Wholesale experience is preferable.
