We are looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to join our profitable growing business who will be responsible for managing some of our largest accounts.

The role:
  • Strategic key account management with responsibility for growth plans and execution, business terms and performance reviews, the selling process and gross-to-net management
  • Deliver sustainable profitable growth for the Lyle and Scott wholesale business and ensure that all accounts maximise commercial opportunities
  • Setting the standards of the Lyle and Scott Vintage collection, driving a premium experience across all channels; on line and retail
  • Support the launch of new business initiatives and the potential for new routes to consumer, including direct to consumer channels

Snapshot of Key Responsibilities

Commercial /Financial:
  • Complete sales accountability to achieve sustainable profitable growth of the Lyle and Scott business in line with business targets
  • Ensure that the brand remains future proofed for ongoing commercial success
  • Setting targets internally and externally whilst working with our finance business partner in identifying opportunities
  • Lead on seasonal strategic analysis and business profiling for all strategic key accounts
  • Work with Sales Managers in identifying and setting KPI’s
  • Annual, seasonal and monthly forecasting
  • Full P&L Management
Customer:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Lyle and Scott strategic plan for each account, ensuring that the intent to maximise commercial potential is always front of mind
  • Assess each accounts market potential and develop strategies to expand their Lyle and Scott business within each territory
  • Work with all accounts to ensure a well-rounded, commercial merchandise assortment, providing best in class examples and guidelines
  • Regular visits to market to support customers in visual merchandising whilst identifying opportunities for the brand and retailer
  • Initiating and deliver staff training as required to key customers/locations
  • Store and space planning
  • Discuss and negotiate customer budget plans
  • Present collections to customers and hold seasonal business reviews
  • International travel to attend workshops or trade shows

  • Implementation and running of a direct to customer digital platform
  • Running product/range selection, commercial and brand optimisation through this channel to maximise growth beyond a normal WHS relationship
  • Use data effectively, understand margin, sales and profit and how to use these to maximise the potential of the brand

We currently have an exciting new Assistant Merchandiser position that will give you the opportunity to manage a Merchandiser Admin Assistant. The role spans across all channels so you will get a broad experience in wholesale and omni- merchandising.

This role is to work in a relatively new team that are in a period of growth and change so we need someone who is open to bringing ideas to the table, who is detail oriented and happy to get involved in setting up new processes. It will also offer a stretch upwards in experience where you will be reporting into a Senior Merchandiser, there are always new and exciting projects to get involved in so you will get a huge level of exposure.

This role knows no limits in that you can get as much as want out of it but you have to be prepared to work hard and be resilient. This is perfect for an Merchandiser Admin Assistant looking to step up or an Assistant Merchandiser looking for a new change.

The Role will involve:
  • Supporting the end to end selling in process through detailed analysis, range assortment and buy proposals
  • Setting up and maintaining flow lines on Never Out Of Stock products and key lines, highlighting opportunities with accounts, and proposing rebuys
  • Actively maximizing sales opportunities through detailed and timely analysis of the order book versus target and last years sales; highlighting areas of risk and turning missed opportunities into additional orders
  • Support the selling in review process to ensure lessons learnt are captured and fed back in a constructive and measurable manner to the design team
  • Driving the buying critical path to ensure all wholesale orders are reviewed and on the system in line with the buy submission dates
  • Review sales orders versus purchase orders at the earliest possible date, highlighting risk and proposing solutions
  • To be aware at all times of delivery status and ensure the sales teams are informed of any risk to the timely conversion of the order book
  • In season drive the order book conversion through detailed trading meetings for all key accounts, ensuring sales are maximized and stock risk minimized
  • Confirm order deadlines with suppliers
  • Maintain accurate system information on Planning and Production-specific product data, pricing and delivery windows and reports
  • Manage development and daily priorities of Merchandiser Admin Assistant
Experience needed:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Merchandising Admin Assistant / Merchandising Assistant or Planner
As well as at least 2 of the following:
  • Previous Wholesale Merchandising experience, International experience would be an advantage
  • Advanced excel skills essential
  • Numerate, analytical and IT orientated
  • The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
