Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Co-management of the orderbook for our Wholesale Partners, Agents & Distributers alongside our sales team, ensuring that all stakeholders are up to date on order status weekly.

  • Work closely with the commercial, operations and credit control teams to deliver service excellence, focusing on developing process and best practice customer support while maximising the performance of an account.

  • Coordinate despatch & delivery schedules with the warehousing teams to ensure that orders are picked, packed and distributed on time to meet the customer needs.

Urgent vs. Important. Can you strike the balance?

We have an opportunity within the Merchandising team for an individual who is able to find that balance. You will support the team with their sole focus of having the right stock, in the right place, at the right time.

The role will involve working closely with the Merchandising team, and other business functions, in order to react to an unpredictable, unrelenting environment. You must have exceptional attention to detail under pressure, first class Excel skills, and the ability to work independently.

In this supporting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the end to end selling in process through detailed analysis, range assortment and buy proposals
  • Setting up and maintaining flow lines on NOOS products and key lines, highlighting opportunities with accounts, and proposing rebuys.
  • Actively maximizing sales opportunities through detailed and timely analysis of the order book versus target and last year; highlighting areas of risk and turning missed opportunities into additional orders
  • Support the selling in review process to ensure lessons learnt are captured and fed back in a constructive and measurable manner to the design team

Accountabilities Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing all purchases made by the company. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, you will have ownership over the company procurement process to ensure that the best value for money is obtained to support our continued growth and success. The successful candidate will have an inquisitive and challenging attitude and should not be afraid of challenging the status quo.

You will be in direct contact with all stakeholders of the business so excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You will also be comfortable communicating with colleagues of all levels.

Key tasks include:

We are looking for a talented Product Development Manager to join the Product Development team for a 12 month maternity cover role.

At Lyle & Scott Our customer is the focal point for product development - understanding their needs and how they change is vital.

As PD Manager you will work in partnership with the Head of Product Development & Technical. You will be a mentor the Product Development team, and drive the development and delivery of four collections each year, across all ranges.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & deliver product to the required specification at the right cost, the right quality and on time.
  • Ensure key milestones and deadlines are met, in line with the seasonal and company critical path.
  • Mentor the Product Development team to ensure continued development and the enhancement of overall skill set of the team.
  • Support Head of PD & T with intake margin ownership through product cost negotiations and regular margin analysis throughout the development season.
  • Continually work with suppliers, and analyse supply chain, to improve margin.
  • Ensure that product quality is at the forefront of all developments by understanding the brand standards, customer perception & expectations; and relevance for the suggested RRP and market placement (Good/Better/Best).
  • Guide and support the design team with the initial design process to ensure product is commercial, suitable for production, and works within the correct price architecture
  • Source relevant materials (fabrics & trims) in line with sourcing strategy and design expectation; attending Trade shows when needed
  • Allocate styles to factories based on supplier capabilities & strengths, partnering with Production team to ensure allocations are realistic and reflect a commercial mix of the best product quality & margin. Source new suppliers & factories where needed.

Lyle & Scott are looking for a trustworthy and organised Cashier to ensure that the Company’s accounting systems enable prompt and accurate recording of banking transactions, to manage the Cash Book and all financial transactions for the Company.

The role is responsible for the banking transactions and processes, providing an accurate overview of company Cashflow for future revenue and costs, preparation of month-end files for the Management Accounts close and Year End files for annual audit and Administration.

While mastering these tasks the successful candidate must be great communicator who builds strong working relationships with all UK and overseas banks, payment providers and processors.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Use the online banking systems for all UK and Overseas bank accounts, payment providers and processors to produce daily statements and back up for all customer receipts for the Credit Control team, and direct debit payments for the Accounts Payable team.
  • Reconcile all bank accounts daily, and complete the reconciliation report from the accounting system on a weekly basis complete; sharing a list of all non-reconciled items and details of all queries with the Head of Finance.
  • Reconcile internal systems against cash book accounts for eCommerce transactions, ensuring all transactions are correctly captured, working with Customer Services to make corrections where necessary.
  • Ensure bank interest is received and reconciles to all treasury deposit confirmations.
  • Process B2C customer refunds for eCommerce transactions.
  • Share bank advises received from the UK bank to assist the Credit Control team in identifying customer receipts.
  • Report bank charges monthly, including fees for eCommerce cash processing.
  • Make authorised payments in keeping with the payment terms using online banking systems.
  • Work with the Purchase Ledger Assistant to complete the supplier payment details for each payment run, and to support in validating that bank details are correct
  • Advising the Head of Finance of any currency requirements required and ensuring there are sufficient GBP funds available to purchase currency.
  • Utilising any excess funds for the earning potential for the company. Accessing the best possible rates with the various options available to the company.
  • Ensuring the processing of all bank charges and interest received is accurate through the accounting system.
  • Assist in preparation of year end files for the auditor in line with deadlines.
  • Ensure all filing is up to date and accurate and in line with the HMRC requirements.
  • Assisting other members of the finance team in moving files and arranging confidential shredding of surplus files.
  • Preparing KYC documentation and new account forms.
  • Building on relationships with key contacts at all banks and financial institutes.
  • Having the structure in place to have external queries resolved in a timely manner.
