Lyle & Scott x Nicholas Daley

HERITAGE REWORKED. CULTURE REWIRED.

We’ve invited British designer Nicholas Daley to reinterpret our legacy through his lens, one rooted in craftsmanship, counterculture, and sound. The result? A limited capsule where Scottish heritage riffs off London soul. Where knitwear meets dub. Where the archive hums with feedback.

At the heart of this collaboration is a shared commitment to material and meaning. Daley’s design ethos is one of depth and dialogue. His pieces are never surface level. They explore the intersectionsof identity, of rhythm, of culture. For this collection, he’s pulled from our archive and turned the dial. Reconstructed silhouettes. Amplified texture. Tonal palettes in ochre, whisky, peat, and burnt brass, echoing Scottish terrain and late-night gigs alike.

Featuring artist and musician Sam Akpro, the campaign brings the collection to life in its truest form: in motion, in sound, in self-expression. Shot in studio but alive with spirit, Sam wears the pieces like they’re part of the setlist. Corduroy trousers, brushed wool vests, checkerboard mohair knits, and reworked staples all tuned to Daley’s frequency. It’s a gig and a garment in one breath.

“When I approach a project like this, it’s about recontextualising legacy. I wanted the collection to carry cultural weight, to feel grounded in identity, rhythm, and community—but still push things forward, stylistically and spiritually”

What emerges is an understated boldness. The kind found in proper tailoring. In classic patterns made new. In textures that don’t shout but still command. The signature eagle is present, subtly re-embroidered in muted tones, a nod to Lyle & Scott’s lineage, redefined by Daley’s understated hand.
