Lyle & Scott x Stan Birch:
150 Years of Savoir Faire
A tattooed hand clutching a golf tee. A hoodie pulled over the eyes. A pink towel draped like a crown. This isn’t country club cosplay. This is Lyle & Scott x Stan Birch; a collaboration that reclaims golfwear with grit, wit, and British irreverence.
To mark our 150th year, we partnered with Stan Birch: creative, stylist, golfer, subverter. A man as likely to quote Bukowski as he is to sink a putt. Together, we took Lyle & Scott essentials for those hard-wearing, daily wearing cornerstones and ran them through Birch’s visual filter. The result: co-branded classics with a twisted smile. Savoir faire in script, “150TH” stamped across backs, hits of bubble-gum pink and soft-focus gold standing proud against navy and black.
Dressed in his co-creations, shot mid-stance or mid-thought, the images feel like stills from a character study. Candid, confrontational, real. This is a portrait of golfwear as identity, not uniform.
“We didn’t want to reinvent the wheel,” Stan says. “We just wanted to scuff it up a bit.” And he has. The typography pops, the colours clash in all the right ways, and the fit stays sharp. There’s a tension here, between the course and the curb, between heritage and here-and-now. Birch brings a subcultural lens to a brand steeped in tradition, reminding us that style isn’t about exclusivity. It’s about the point of view.

Every piece in the capsule bears a purpose. Graphic-heavy sweats and tees carry messages you’ll want to wear. The limited palette, consisting of navy, black, grey marl, and white, is lifted by unexpected accents and oversized type. This is everyday kit with attitude: wearable, functional, and built to outlast trends.
And while the visual language is loud, the storytelling is subtle. The back prints nod to legacy, but the front hits are discreet. The golf tee in hand, the tucked posture, and the softness of the cotton all convey a quiet confidence.
