Chino shorts take the construction of a chino trouser, including belt loops and proper pockets, and cut it at the knee.
Fabric and fit
Cotton twill with a little stretch holds a clean line through the leg. A slim cut sits close through the thigh; a regular fit gives more room in heat. Length should land at or just above the knee.
Colour and sizing
