MEN'S SWIMMING SHORTS
Swim shorts are made from quick drying polyester and nylon blends rather than cotton, which is what allows them to dry after swimming.
Lining and length
A mesh lining means the shorts can be worn on their own. Length sits above the knee for most styles, shorter than a standard knee length short. A drawcord waist handles the sizing, which makes these more forgiving than most shorts.
Pockets, colour and care
A back pocket with a drain eyelet is useful for a key. Plain colours and simple prints last longest visually. Rinse in fresh water after salt or chlorine and dry flat rather than leaving them in a bag. Pair with a short sleeve shirt or polo shirt. See men's shorts.
