Kits For Clubs - Season 2
Now entering its second year for the 24-25 football season, the latest iteration of Lyle & Scott’s ‘Kits for Clubs’ campaign will build on the global successes of its first year and continue to support grassroots football the world over.
The ‘Kits for Clubs’ campaign invites any football club, whether 5, 7 or 11-a-side, freestylers, pub teams or mid-week footballers, to apply for complimentary football kits and remove a significant operating expense. In its first season, football kits were provided for teams playing in various countries spread over four continents, creating new Lyle & Scott fans and customers all over the world. Following an initial seven-figure investment in the campaign in year one, the second season will continue the brand’s ambitious plan to deliver free-of-charge bespoke football kits to tens of thousands of dedicated grassroots football players.
The new football kit rollout will be supported with specialist partners, the Sports Hub Group and Kosmico FC design studio, who have been recruited to take on production, streamline operations from customisation to delivery, and revamp designs to take the campaign deeper into the culture of amateur football.
The new designs draw inspiration from Lyle & Scott’s 150-year history, including its 100th year in 1974 when the Royal Warrant was appointed by H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, collaborations with fashion’s elite and the streets of Camden that house its offices today. The football kits for season two are sure to stand out on the terraces, on the pitch and wherever the selected teams choose to celebrate.
With a renewed focus on content production and encouraging football clubs to tell their own stories through their own lenses, ‘Kits for Clubs’ season two kicks off the celebration of 150 years of Lyle & Scott by partnering with the global rising stars of community football on and off the pitch.
The ‘Kits for Clubs’ campaign will continue to be developed by Lyle & Scott over the years ahead, supporting the funding and infrastructure that grassroots football desperately needs.
The final teams participating in season one will receive their kits in August 2024, with applications for season two now live and can be submitted here.
