The v-neck golf jumper is one of the most recognisable pieces Lyle & Scott makes, worn by major winners through the 1970s and 1980s.

Shapes and weights

The v-neck sits flat under a collar, which is why it became the standard golf layer. Lightweight knits take the edge off an early tee time; heavier gauges handle winter golf. Argyle is the pattern most associated with the category.

Layering and off the course
