MEN'S LAMBSWOOL KNITWEAR
Lambswool comes from a sheep's first shearing, which makes it softer and finer than the wool that follows.
Why lambswool
It has natural loft, so it traps air and insulates well for its weight, and it holds dye with real depth. It is the yarn the Hawick knitwear industry was built on, and the one Lyle & Scott started with in 1874.
Lambswool or merino
Lambswool is warmer for its weight with more texture and body, which suits wearing as an outer layer. Merino is finer and smoother, better under a jacket. Wash cool on a wool cycle, dry flat, and do not tumble dry. See crew necks, v-necks and the wider knitwear range.
