Casual shirts cross more situations than most pieces, worn open, buttoned or layered.
Fabrics and patterns
Cotton and oxford weaves are the everyday choices. Brushed and flannel fabrics suit autumn and winter. Lighter weaves and linen blends work in summer, particularly in short sleeve styles. Plain shirts layer most easily; checks carry more character and stripes sit between the two.
Fit
