Big sizing adds width through the chest, waist and hip while keeping body length proportionate. Tall sizing adds length through the body and sleeve without adding width. Check both measurements on the product page rather than sizing by label alone.

Which pieces to check

Body length matters most on t-shirts and polo shirts. Knitwear has more give, though the shoulder seam should still sit correctly. Size jackets with a layer underneath in mind. Free returns and exchanges apply.
