MEN'S TIPPED POLO SHIRTS
Tipping is the contrast trim banded at the collar and cuff. It is the detail most associated with the traditional polo shirt, and it has been on Lyle & Scott polos since the golf range of the 1960s.
Constructions
Fine cotton and piqué are the everyday choices and show the trim most clearly. Jacquard and birdseye add texture through the body, so the tipping sits within the pattern instead of against a flat colour. Sports and technical styles carry the same detail in stretch fabrics, as do the golf polo shirts.
Colours and fit
